Multifunctional automatic escape fire door working principle

Multifunctional automatic escape fire door working principle In high-rise buildings, fire doors play a critical role in preventing the spread of flames and smoke. The multifunctional automatic escape fire door is designed not only to block fire but also to alert occupants and provide a safe exit route. It can automatically unlock during emergencies, allowing trapped individuals to escape quickly. Additionally, it has a self-closing mechanism that activates when the fire becomes uncontrollable, helping to contain the blaze and protect lives. The door uses a combination of sensors and automated systems to function effectively. At the core of its operation is a smoke detection alarm that responds rapidly to early signs of fire. Once triggered, the system alerts people and simultaneously activates the automatic locking mechanism. Under normal conditions, three identical automatic locks secure the door. When power is applied, an electromagnet pulls the lock core down, releasing the door. If the power is cut, the spring returns the lock to its original position, ensuring the door remains securely closed. For opening and closing functions, the system utilizes a motor-driven gear mechanism. One of the gears is incomplete, meaning part of it lacks teeth. Normally, this incomplete gear does not engage with the standard gear. However, in case of a fire, the motor rotates the incomplete gear, causing it to mesh with the standard gear and open the door. Once fully opened, a switch stops the motor. When the temperature rises, a thermal switch triggers the door to close automatically, preventing fire from spreading further. A position switch ensures the motor stops once the door is fully closed. An emergency button is also installed nearby, allowing manual re-opening if needed. Choosing the right detector is essential for the system's effectiveness. Different types of detectors are suitable for various environments: 1. **Photoelectric Smoke Detectors** are ideal for hotels, offices, factories, and entertainment venues. They resist dust, pests, and external light interference, reducing false alarms and offering electronic encoding capabilities. 2. **UV Flame Detectors** detect ultraviolet radiation from flames and are best used in areas where fires tend to develop quickly, especially in spaces over 20 meters high. 3. **Ionization Smoke Detectors** feature a dual-protected design with a sealed structure, making them highly responsive to early-stage fires. 4. **Infrared Beam Smoke Detectors** are suitable for high-rises, historical buildings, auditoriums, warehouses, and tunnels. They have built-in microcomputers for accurate fire detection and can operate up to 100 meters. By integrating these advanced technologies, the multifunctional automatic escape fire door offers a reliable solution for fire safety, ensuring timely evacuation and effective fire containment.
