Plastic pipe is one of the key products for the promotion and application of chemical building materials in China. The Ministry of Construction issued the “Notice on Strengthening the Production Management, Promotion and Application of Copolymer Polypropylene (PP-R, PP-B) Pipes in 2001”, requesting relevant departments. We must do a good job in the work of raw materials, processing, quality, and the use and installation of pipes. We must strictly control the quality of PP pipes to facilitate the production and promotion of PP pipes in China.

Therefore, the development of transparent PP special materials is a very good development trend, especially for PP special materials with high transparency, good fluidity and fast forming, so as to design and process PP products that people love. Transparent PP is more distinctive than ordinary PP, PVC, PET, PS, and has more advantages and development prospects.

In recent years, the foreign transparent PP market has grown rapidly. For example, South Korea LG has introduced transparent PP as a PET substitute to the market; some companies in Germany have replaced PVC with transparent PP; the growth rate of US transparent PP products is 7% higher than that of ordinary PP products. ~9%; In recent years, the annual dosage of PP nucleating transparent agent in Japan is about 2000t. If the dosage is 0.25%, the annual output of Japanese transparent PP material can reach more than 800,000 tons.
