Toshiba has successfully developed an organic thin-film solar cell module product with a photoelectric conversion rate of 9.9% by improving the structure and material of solar cells and incorporating high-precision printing technology. The organic thin-film solar module with a side length of 5 cm has been successfully developed. From a viewpoint, its conversion rate has reached the highest level in the world.
The report pointed out that Toshiba will continue to reduce the manufacturing costs of the organic thin-film solar module and improve its durability in the future, in the hope that it will be put into practical use early, and plans to further increase its conversion rate to about 13% by 2020. .
