Northeast rice dominates the Kunming market
Subsequently, the reporter visited the market. The reporters at Yiyuan Convenience Store on Liyuan Road saw that the store sells 6 brands of rice, which are provided by Wuchang Fuxing Refined Rice Industry Co., Ltd., Harbin Founder Qiutan Rice Industry Co., Ltd., and Maitreya Spa Co., Ltd.
There are 57 kinds of rice brands sold in Wal-Mart Supermarket (Xingyuan Branch) from 50 rice companies, of which there are 40 companies in the Northeast, accounting for 80% of the rice companies. The reporter found that supermarkets and convenience stores have rice from different companies in the same province and city, and most of them are companies in Heilongjiang Province. Many and good, Walmart, Carrefour and other large supermarkets account for 80% to 90% of rice in Northeast China, and most of them are in Heilongjiang Province. According to Wu Chunyong, deputy general manager of the Kunming Pavilion Food Wholesale Market, the market rice is generally northeast rice, with Heilongjiang as the majority, and a small part of it is rice from Jiangxi and Anhui. When purchasing rice, they first authenticated the qualifications of the companies they bought in. After that, the company conducts self-inspection of rice. The wholesale market is based on the quality inspection report issued by the quality inspection department of the place of purchase. The staff of the Liangting branch of the Gongdu Industrial and Commercial Bureau of Kunming City will test the rice every day. At present, no genetically modified rice has been found.
