Polymer cement mortar expansion aid

Polymer Cement Mortar Waterproofing Latex

The polymer cement mortar waterproof latex is a high-performance additive made from imported polymer emulsions and enhanced with various chemical additives. When mixed into traditional cement mortar, it forms a unique composite network structure that significantly enhances the flexibility, crack resistance, and water resistance of the final product. This versatile material comes in three types—A, B, and C—each tailored for different application needs and environmental conditions.

Key Benefits:

1. Doubles the adhesion strength of cement mortar, ensuring better bonding to surfaces. 2. Offers exceptional waterproofing, crack resistance, and impact resistance, making it ideal for high-stress areas. 3. Resistant to high temperatures and alkaline environments, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. 4. Non-toxic, eco-friendly, and safe for use in residential and commercial applications without harmful emissions.

Applications:

1. Ideal for waterproofing and leak prevention in building structures such as exterior walls, roofs, bathrooms, and swimming pools. 2. Suitable for underground projects like basements, tunnels, dams, and subway stations. 3. Especially effective on porous materials like aerated concrete and hollow bricks where leakage is common.

Usage Instructions:

1. **Main Materials:** - Cement: Use general Portland cement with a minimum strength grade of C32.5. - Sand: Choose medium or fine sand depending on the construction requirements.

2. **Preparation:** - For cement paste: Mix cement and latex with water in the correct ratio. The latex content is typically around 0.1 kg per cubic meter. - For waterproof mortar: First blend cement and sand, then add the specified amount of latex and water. Mix thoroughly using mechanical or manual methods. Use the prepared mixture within one hour at room temperature (20 ± 2°C).

3. **Construction Steps:** - Surface preparation: Ensure the base is clean, smooth, and free of dust, oil, or debris. Fix any leaks first. For metal or plastic pipes, ensure the surrounding area is properly polished. - Apply a thin layer of cement paste to improve adhesion. - Spread the polymer cement mortar evenly with a trowel. The recommended thickness is 3–5 mm for general use, and 5–8 mm for basements or pools. - Apply the mortar in layers, allowing the first layer to set before applying the second. The initial setting time is about 4 hours, and full setting takes around 8 hours. - After 24 hours, perform wet curing. At room temperature, curing should last 3–5 days. - When attaching tiles or other finishes, apply a layer of pure cement paste or waterproof mortar to both the base and the back of the material before pressing them together firmly.

Storage and Transportation:

1. Store in a cool, dry place with the container sealed tightly. Shelf life is up to 12 months. 2. Available in three packaging sizes: 4kg/Barrel, 20kg/Barrel, and 50kg/Barrel (compatible with 50kg cement bags).
