The outstanding feature of the LHC aluminum slab casting technology is the adoption of an oil retention system on the slab mold, which essentially eliminates the need for mold lubricants that reach the cooling water system during the casting process.

Continuous lubrication of the oil retention system reduces the associated costs of treating the cooling water. The oil retention system stops the dripping of the die oil when the tilting system of the die table is adopted, which reduces the “oil splash” around the casting table and makes the oil entering the cooling water system less, thus making work around the casting table. People reduce walking slippage.

3. Stop Cast Technology to Ensure Casting Safety In order to ensure the safety of the operator during the casting process, Wagastaff developed a Stop Casting System for the aluminum sink leak detection system, which detects the leakage of aluminum water during the casting process of the extrusion billet. Continuous aluminum water flow will be automatically disconnected, the time required is only a few seconds; without the Stop Cast system, it will take several minutes or even longer to shut down the continuous aluminum flow.
