Wide application of glass in the automotive industry

Re-recognize the classification of automotive glass automotive glass

Although the automobile industry and the glass industry belong to two different fields of industry, the former belongs to the machinery manufacturing industry and the latter belongs to the light industry. However, from the perspective of the development of the automobile, the relationship between the two is getting closer and closer. Glass technology has completely penetrated into the automotive industry and has become an indispensable member of the automotive technology field. Nowadays, people always research and develop automotive glass from the perspective of car safety and appearance, and constantly introduce new varieties. The automobile glass is mainly composed of windshield. As early as 80 years ago, the glass was installed on the T-type car produced by the Ford plant in the United States. At that time, it was installed on the front end of the carriage with flat glass, which made the driver avoid the wind and rain. From the following decades, the glass industry has gradually entered the automotive industry, creating a variety of safety glass - laminated glass, tempered glass and regional tempered glass, which greatly improved the performance of automotive glass.

Laminated glass

The laminated glass refers to a transparent adhesive plastic film attached between two or three layers of glass, which combines the toughness of the plastic with the rigidity of the glass, thereby increasing the crush resistance of the glass. Tempered glass refers to the quenching of ordinary glass to form a certain internal stress in the internal structure, so that the strength of the glass is strengthened. When the impact is broken, the glass will split into small pieces with blunt edges, which is not easy to cause damage to the occupants.

Regional tempered glass

The regional tempered glass is a new type of tempered glass. It has been specially treated to maintain a certain degree of sharpness in the crack of the glass when the impact is broken, so as to ensure that the driver's field of view is not affected. At present, the front windshield of the automobile is mainly composed of laminated tempered glass and tempered glass in the interlayer region, and can withstand strong impact force.

The development of the appearance of modern cars is closely related to the development of glass technology. As early as 40 years ago, the front windshield of the car had adopted a one-piece curved windshield and gradually abandoned the flat windshield. Today's car windshield is generally made into a large curved surface of the overall shape, with a certain degree of curvature from top to bottom. This curved glass is a highly technical product, both in terms of machining process and assembly, because it involves many problems such as vehicle type, strength, heat insulation and assembly.

The car windshield uses curved glass, starting from the aerodynamic point of view. Because modern cars have a normal speed of more than 100 kilometers, the oncoming airflow through the curved glass can reduce eddy currents and turbulence, thus reducing air resistance.

In addition, the edge of the window frame and the surface of the vehicle body smoothly transition, and the glass and the body are integrated into one body, which visually senses the overall coordination and beauty, and can reduce the drag coefficient of the whole vehicle. In addition, the curved glass has a high strength, and a thin glass can be used, which has a certain significance for the weight of the car.

The curved windshield of a modern car needs to have a high flatness at the corner of the bend, and no optical distortion can occur. The object outside is not deformed or dazzled from any angle on the driver's seat. In the past, car glass was usually decorated or protected along the edge of the glass with neat strips. Now the glass on the car is made of ceramic glaze, the so-called "black border".

Many car windshields are also coated, using a reflective coating process or improving the composition of the glass, allowing only visible light from the sun to enter the compartment, blocking ultraviolet and infrared rays, greatly reducing the suffering of the occupants. This modern car glass called "green glass" has been widely used.

Melamine Particle Board is mainly used for furniture and carriage of bus, train. The bace&back are the Veneer surface, such as Okoume, Bintangor, Pine, Birch, Poplar, Pencil cedar, Maple, Cherry, White Oak, Sapele, Beech, Red Oak, Ash etc.Melamine paper is the most popular to be as the face board, it is abrasion resistant, heat resistant, fouling resistant, clean is simple. The Engineering wood is also as the face and back surface. It is more cheaper and beautiful, can reach the same wood grain effect as the veneer surface. And we have High Quality Particle Board .LULI Group Co.
