Flotation operation is an important operation process in the process of copper ore dressing equipment. The flotation of the slurry during the operation of the flotation machine mainly includes three processes: the generation of bubbles, the merger and dissolution of bubbles, and the lifting and buoying movement of bubbles to the slurry surface. There are three ways to generate bubbles in a bubble. 1 Mechanical agitation to pulverize the air stream to form a bubble mechanical agitation flotation machine bubble generation mainly through this method. At this time, the rotor or the impeller with different shapes strongly stirs the slurry to cause a strong vortex motion of the slurry. Due to the shearing action of the vortex, the home gas of the suction flotation machine is dispersed into bubbles of different diameters. The higher the relative velocity of the slurry and the bubble, the higher the turbulence degree, the lower the interfacial tension of the gas-liquid interface, and the smaller the diameter of the air bubble divided by the vortex shear of the slurry, the greater the number; but the stirring is too strong and the energy consumption is large. The liquid level is unstable, and the bubble diameter is too small, which is also unfavorable for the mineral particles to float out. 2 Air is formed by the formation of bubbles in a bubble-pressing flotation machine (such as a flotation column, etc.) through the fine pores of the porous medium. The pressed air passes through a porous medium with small holes, such as microporous ceramics, canvas, etc., to produce fine bubbles. However, the pressure of the air should be appropriate: too small is not conducive to the passage of air, the number of bubbles is small; when too large, the jet stream is easily formed without foaming, and the liquid level is unstable. The amount of pressure is determined by the aerator. In addition, the size and spacing of the holes in the inflator also affect the generation of bubbles. The size of the holes affects the resistance of the air passage; when the interval is too small, the bubbles formed by the adjacent holes are easy to meet and merge, and if the interval is too large, the amount of inflation is too small. 3 gas is precipitated from the pulp to form microbubbles. Under standard conditions, the solubility of air in water is about 2%. When the pressure is lowered, the dissolved gas is precipitated from the solution towel in the form of tiny bubbles. The precipitated microbubbles have the characteristics of small diameter, high dispersion, large gas-liquid interface, and selective precipitation on a highly hydrophobic surface, and are therefore called active microbubbles. In the design of modern flotation machines, attention is paid to ensuring a large number of microbubbles and strengthening the flotation process. The precipitation of microbubbles on the surface of the ore particles helps to break through the hydration layer between the ore particles and the bubbles. When there are microbubbles on the surface of the coarse particles, other bubbles may adhere to the ore particles through the emblem, forming adhesion of the residual residual hydrated membrane, or many microbubbles may adhere to the rented mineral to form bubble flocs and float upward, strengthening the coarse Flotation of the granules.
