Commonly used small appliances maintenance knowledge Daquan

Induction Cooker

1. The induction cooker is a versatile kitchen appliance that allows you to fry, boil, steam, and even roast food directly. It aligns well with traditional Chinese cooking methods and is compact in size, making it easy to place and use anywhere in the kitchen or restaurant.

2. To operate efficiently, the induction cooker requires cookware made from ferromagnetic materials such as iron, enamel, or stainless steel pots. These pots should have a flat bottom to ensure proper contact with the cooking surface.

Disinfection Cabinet

1. Before placing dishes in the disinfection cabinet, make sure they are thoroughly washed and drained. This helps reduce disinfection time and energy consumption, ensuring more efficient operation.

2. High-temperature resistant plastic tableware should not be placed in the lower compartment of the disinfection cabinet, which uses high heat. Instead, they should be placed in the upper ozone disinfection compartment for low-temperature sterilization to avoid damaging the items.

3. Avoid placing colored ceramic utensils in the disinfection cabinet, as the glaze and pigments on these items may contain harmful heavy metals like lead and cadmium. When exposed to high temperatures (up to 200°C), these substances can leach into food, posing health risks. Always opt for white or unglazed ceramics for safe disinfection.

4. Arrange bowls, plates, and cups vertically on the shelves inside the cabinet, avoiding stacking them. This ensures better air circulation and faster, more effective disinfection.

Microwave Oven

1. Avoid overheating food in the microwave. If you forget to remove the food after heating for over two hours, it’s best to discard it to prevent the risk of food poisoning.

2. Never use metal utensils such as aluminum, stainless steel, or enamel containers in the microwave. These can cause sparks, potentially damaging the oven and preventing proper cooking of the food.

Soymilk Maker

1. If the cup is empty or the water level is too low, the machine will enter a self-protection or alarm mode. In this state, the motor and heating element will not operate, which is normal and not a malfunction. Always fill the water up to the upper mark.

2. In some areas where the water has high mineral content, soy milk may form a bean-like curd. This issue can be resolved by using cold boiled water instead of tap water.

3. When cleaning, only rinse the lower part of the machine head with water and use a brush to remove residue. Do not submerge the machine head in water or spray water on the upper part. The top section and power socket area must remain dry at all times to prevent damage.

Dishwasher

1. When loading the dishwasher, ensure that all utensils are fully contained within the metal basket. Small items like cups and spoons should be placed in smaller baskets to prevent them from falling or colliding, reducing the risk of breakage.

2. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the dishwasher. After each use, clean the filter with a brush to prevent clogging. Once a month, use a deodorizer in the detergent tank 1–2 times to keep the machine fresh and odor-free.

3. For optimal cleaning and to avoid water spots, always use specialized dishwasher detergent rather than regular soap or washing powder. This ensures better results and protects your dishes from damage.
