Lu construction application!

Application of Polymer Composite Sheets in Waterproof Engineering Wang Wenguo's Engineering Quality Supervision and Management Station in Yunnan Province (650 032) and other practical projects, discussed the construction, inspection and application of polymer composite sheets, aiming to explore simple and practical Measures to solve the problem of waterproof engineering.

The basic principles and existing problems of the roof project quality acceptance criteria The leakage of the roof, toilet and basement will not only damage the appearance of the building, affect the use of functions, and even endanger the structural safety. In order to comprehensively rectify this common problem of quality and adapt to the development of new types of waterproof materials and construction techniques, the State revised the technical specifications of roofing waterproofing in 1994 and 2002. Code for the acceptance of roof engineering GB50207-2002 (hereinafter abbreviated as GB50207-2002) The principle of the following roofing engineering technical specification GB50207-94 abbreviated as GB50207-94) combination of raft and row, rigid and flexible, multi-channel fortification, and comprehensive management, the roof waterproofing is retained Grades and fortification requirements”, while vigorously promoting the application of new materials such as polymer modified bituminous membranes and synthetic polymer waterproofing membranes, restrictions were imposed on traditional bituminous waterproofing membranes and asphalt-based tar-based waterproofing coatings. Important provisions related to design, construction, and materials have set mandatory provisions. It is of great significance that for the current characteristics of many kinds of synthetic polymer membranes, from the perspective of popularization and application, GB50207-2002 stipulates the product quality standards for synthetic polymer membranes not covered in the article description, that is, National standard molecular waterproof material GB18173.1-2000) a part of the sheet) the following referred to GB18173. 1-2000 requirements, provides a basis for the quality of polymer waterproof material inspection. Unfortunately, synthetic polymer coils are classified into two types, homogeneous sheets and composite sheets, in accordance with the provisions of GB 18173. 1-2000, while GB 50207-2002 only provides for the acceptance of construction of homogeneous sheets. , resulting in the blank acceptance of composite sheet construction, is not conducive to the current promotion of polymer composite sheet and inspection and acceptance. Now we put forward some opinions and suggestions on the construction and quality control of polymer composite sheet by combining the characteristics of polymer composite sheet with engineering practice.

Characteristics of Polymer Composite Sheets 2.1 Classification of Polymer Sheets Polymer Waterproof Materials Sheets Synthetic Polymer Sheets are collectively referred to as high-molecular-weight materials and are produced in a continuous pressure or extrusion process. The material and the homogenous sheet are composited with the macromolecular material and the composite sheet comprising a fabric reinforcing layer). According to the classification of sheets in Table 1 of GB 18173. 1-2000, the two types of sheets are classified into three categories: vulcanized rubber, non-vulcanized rubber, and resin according to the main raw materials.

2.2 Identification of Polymer Sheets In the 1-2000 Table 4, the physical properties of the homogenous sheet and the physical properties of the composite sheet in Table 5 are not difficult to find. The biggest difference between the homogenous sheet and the composite sheet is the tensile strength at break. According to GB/T528, it can be seen from the tensile strength test of the sheet that the tensile strength of the composite sheet is the tensile strength when the composite sheet strengthens the fabric, so we can conclude that the composite sheet should be strengthened. The cloth, which has no reinforcing cloth, is a homogenous sheet, and this conclusion can also be confirmed from the "classification of sheets" in Table 1 of GB 18173. 1-2000.

2.3 Physical Properties of Polymer Composite Sheets The first two categories in the above classification are due to a material thickness of 1.0 mm or more. Despite having a fabric reinforcement layer, it can increase the bonding ability between the sheet and the substrate, but the common construction method is due to the Due to the influence of elasticity, it is difficult to guarantee construction quality. The resin-based polymer composite sheet is only 0.5mm~0.8mm thick because of its thin material, so it can be paved with common conventional methods, and the construction is very convenient. Currently, it has been widely used. Typical products include Heilongjiang Senglong SBC120 sheet. , Wuhan Murray letter EP polymer composite sheet and so on. The following uses the EP polymer composite sheet as an example to illustrate the performance and promotion value of the resin-based polymer composite sheet. EP polymer composite sheet is a multi-layer composite waterproof sheet made of EVA, LLDPE resin and polypropylene filament fabrics with high strength and anti-aging properties. The physical properties of the EP polymer composite sheet and the resin homogeneous sheet are shown in Table 1. Table 1 shows that, in addition to the fracture tensile strength index of the resin-based polymer composite sheet and the homogeneous sheet, the remaining indicators are basically the same. (Resin homogenous sheet) Same. It should be noted that the indicator of GB50207-2002 is not the highest or lowest target of all materials for 2.4.1 laying, that is, it is not mandatory. First of all, look at some of the common cold-stick construction materials for waterproofing membranes. The quality of the material should still meet the requirements of the production standards. Arts, see Table 2. 2.4 Construction characteristics of polymer composite sheet Table 2 Several common cold-rolled materials for cold-stick construction process materials Name Base treatment agent Web and base adhesives Web and web interface Web sealing EP polymer composite sheet cement base enamel waterproof coating petroleum bitumen waterproof membrane petroleum asphalt cold base oil asphalt mastic asphalt polymer modified bitumen membrane neoprene asphalt latex, asphalt modified cold base oil etc Bituminous Adhesive 10mm Sealing Material EPDM Rubber Waterproof Coil Polyurethane Primer A: B=1:3 0404 Adhesive Butyl Adhesive 10mm Sealing Material Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene Coil Dilution with Neoprene Coating or Water Hole Type Coating Spraying Adhesives 10mm Sealing Material Sanyuan Bing Rubber Waterproofing Rolling Sheet -1 Compensating Adhesive Diluent -1 Adhesive 10mm Sealing Material As can be seen from Table 2, other waterproofing coils must be selected to be compatible with the material of the rolled material. Substrate treatment agent, joint adhesives, sealing materials and other supporting materials; before construction, it is necessary to check the moisture content of the grass-roots, brushing the grass-roots treatment agent on the grass-roots; when laying synthetic polymer waterproofing materials, it should also be based on different products. Different use professional adhesives, most of the synthetic polymer waterproofing membrane between the grass roots, coil and the coil needs to use a different adhesive, and not mix and misuse. The joints of polymer modified bituminous membranes and synthetic polymer membranes are also sealed with sealing materials, and the width should be 10mm. Compared to this, the laying of EP polymer composite sheets is much simpler, only Must use 801 glue, cement, water as adhesive, this practice is the first of polymer composite sheet.

2.4.2 Requirements for base layer moisture content Low EP polymer composite sheet, due to the compounding of polypropylene filament fabric with strong cement bondability, overcomes poor adhesion of other coils and base layers, and requires high dryness of the base layer. , Bubbling, cracking defects. It can be applied on the wet grass, especially in the rainy season and when the base layer is difficult to dry, it can ensure the smooth construction of waterproof construction and effectively shorten the construction period.

2.4.3 can effectively prevent the decorative surface of the empty drum, off EP polymer composite sheet due to the good adhesion of concrete, mortar, and thin materials, can effectively overcome the formation of a barrier due to the construction of the waterproof layer, paving the wall, Floor tiles are prone to hollowing and falling off, so they can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, pools, and other areas where there are complex waterproof requirements. Due to the good adhesiveness of the composite polymer sheet, it is not necessary to consider the fixing of the coil material in the construction of the inclined roof.

2.4.4 The detailed construction process of the construction facilitates the EP polymer composite sheet due to its good adhesion performance. It can be directly affixed on the parapets and out of the roof of the pipeline, and can be brushed twice with a cement-based acrylic waterproof coating. It is more convenient and eliminates the complicated practices of other coil closures. However, it should be noted that the construction of additional floors and screeds should still be carried out according to the specifications.

3 Application of Polymer Composite Sheets in Engineering Due to the excellent properties of resin-based polymer composite sheets, it has now been widely recognized. At present, this type of polymer composite sheet has been built in China with nearly 10 million square meters. There are also dozens of projects in use in our province. No leakage has occurred from the projects that have been put into use. Among them, Deyuan Community Basement Brickwork The waterproof construction of the enclosing structure fully verified the characteristics of simple construction, good effect and wide applicability of this type of material.

The 11 buildings are of brick-concrete structure with 6 floors above ground and 1 underground floor. The foundation is a deep pile-rafted raft foundation, the underground outdoor wall is 490-thick clay brick wall, the base floor elevation is -3.6m, and the waterproof area is 10,000 m2. The original design It is waterproof for polyurethane coating film. Due to the tight construction period and the rainy season at that time, it is difficult for the grassroots to meet the construction requirements. After design agrees to change to EP wall sheet waterproofing, the concrete construction steps are as follows: Leveling layer construction, focusing on the intersection of the raft foundation and the masonry, and cleaning the foundation side concrete laitance.

After 12 hours of initial settling of the screed mortar, EP sheets were pasted.

The overlap width between the sheet and the sheet is 100mm, and a cement-based acrylic coating seals the lap width.

The interface between masonry and raft foundation is waterproof, so first add a waterproof additional layer with a width of 400mm. After 12h waterproof layer, check the waterproof layer is not damaged, 2 cement mortar protective layer, and build 120 thick masonry As a protective wall, then layer backfill.

The project has now been completed for 3 years. Although the underground water level in the community site is rich in the groundwater level of about 1m, the waterproof effect is still good.

4 Construction Quality Control and Improvement Measures for Polymer Composite Sheets 4.1 Quality Requirements for Materials The polymer composite sheets used in construction should have product certification and performance test reports. The variety, performance, specifications, etc. of the materials should meet the current national product standards and design requirements. The entry materials shall be sampled in accordance with the provisions of Table B0.2 of GB50207-2002 and retested. Appearance quality inspection content: creases, impurities, plastic blocks, dents, per roll coil joints; physical properties of test content: tensile strength at break, elongation at break, low temperature bending, impermeability.

4.2 Grass-roots requirements The grass-roots level must be clean. Due to the thinness of the resin-based polymer composite sheet, care should be taken during construction to prevent stamping, punctures, etc. of the machine to avoid breakage of the waterproof layer.

Although the resin-based polymer composite sheet can be constructed on a wet substrate, when the insulation layer is provided, the moisture content of the insulation layer should be strictly controlled. This is a mandatory requirement. If the moisture content of the insulation layer does not meet the requirements and must be constructed, measures for exhausting the insulation should be taken.

Since the bonding of the resin-based polymer composite sheet depends mainly on the strength of the cement, when the base layer is very dry, it should be sprinkled with water first, otherwise the moisture in the sheet adhesive agent is quickly absorbed by the base layer, which will affect the quality of the paste.

4.3 Key points for construction inspection 2) Whether or not the width and thickness of the cement-based acrylic waterproof coating applied to the seams are wide and whether the method of meeting the requirements is satisfactory.

4.4 Waterproof construction After completion of construction, no leakage or stagnant water inspection method shall be conducted for inspection after rain or continuous watering for 2 hours or after impounding for 24 hours.

4.5 Improvement Measures The index of the bond strength of the composite layer should be increased in the material standards. The polypropylene filament fabric composite layer plays a very important role in ensuring the performance of the sheet. During the supervision process, counterfeit products were encountered and bonded. Very poor performance, can be stripped by hand. Before the introduction of specific indicators, a simple method can be used to test: in the two concrete standard test blocks with adhesive bonding sheets, 7d after taking the above test block, the bond should be good, the composite layer does not fall off.

At present, the polymer composite sheet has been widely used. In order to facilitate the construction and acceptance of the project, after the construction process and technical measures have been further improved, it is recommended that the construction and acceptance of the polymer composite sheet be modified in the partial revision of the roof project quality acceptance specification. Including the specification, the thickness of the resin-based composite sheet cannot be specified to meet the specification of 1.2 mm or more.

5 Conclusion Waterproof construction of construction projects has long been a concern and concern for all parties involved in the construction. To thoroughly solve the leakage problem, it is necessary to combine practical projects with practical and feasible measures. According to the design, the material is the foundation, and the construction is The key is to ensure that the principle of "maintaining the quality of comprehensive management, so that the leakage problem is fundamentally resolved.
