Welding workshop return air system application AAT dust filter

The treatment of welding fume is one of the key points and difficulties in environmental protection in many industries. After a well-known automobile brand was put into production in the welding workshop of the domestic production plant, the treatment of welding fumes became a major issue. Donaldson's general contracted welding fume removal project mainly achieves the following functions: 1 Efficient filtration of soot generated by welding. 2 The requirements for clean air compliance and natural air supply after filtration are achieved. 3 The winter warm air and the summer cool breeze can be returned for use, achieving the goal of environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction.

Donaldson's AAT type dust filter uses its patented filter material Ultra-Web FR as a filter element, which has a collection efficiency of up to 99.999% for 0.5μm dust particle size, low running resistance and extended service life. Especially in the high dust concentration in industrial production environment, when the ordinary plate and frame filter plate can not achieve the dust collecting effect, the AAT type dust filter enhances its superiority. Donaldson Ultra-Web® filter features: Cellulosic substrate, ultra-fine nanofiber surface, FR flame retardant (optional), 650C operating temperature and 12 pleats/inch (12 pleats per inch). As shown in Figure 2, the AAT type dust filter is designed for flexible application, and its air volume selection, form and shape can be perfectly matched with other equipment to form an efficient HVAC air filtration treatment system. The long-term stable low resistance can greatly reduce the operating cost. The basic maintenance-free and quick filter replacement features save time, labor and labor, and ensure the normal operation of the factory.

The air volume of the integrated dust collector of the famous automobile production workshop is 160 000 m3/hr, and the air volume and pressure drop of the blower and the return fan are also appropriately selected, that is, the fan heads are 2000 Pa (132 kW) and 1200 Pa (90 kW) respectively. . The inlet smoke exhaust duct and the AAT dust filter inlet are shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4.

The system is temperature-controlled in three seasons, which is divided into winter, summer and spring and autumn. In the summer, clean air can be directly discharged outside the factory. After adding some fresh air in the winter, it will be discharged into the room. In spring and autumn, the air inside and outside the plant can be switched freely. The system is designed with a heat recovery device to ensure that most of the clean air after filtration in winter can be discharged back to the outside of the plant after heat exchange with the replenished outdoor fresh air. The fresh air that has been replenished is preheated and then further heated by the electric heating pipe to enter the plant. In the summer, the fresh air outside the factory can be pre-cooled by indoor air before entering the room.
