The vegetable farmers often take the loofah seeds in the late stage of loofah. In general, the plants after seeding are no longer in normal production of loofah. However, it takes 80 to 90 days from the loofah to the seed to mature , and only cultivating the seeds in the past three months will inevitably affect the benefits of loofah production. If you manage it in the late stage of loofah, you can ensure that the loofah is kept in the same way.
1. When the loofah enters the planned seeding period, at the 1~2 knot below the planned melon strip, a side vine is reserved in advance, and the main vine is picked up, so that the side vine replaces the main vine to continue the knot.
2. At least 5 to 6 leaves should be kept above the melons of the main vines to ensure the nutrients needed for seed development.
3. Side vines should be hanged in time, and it is not advisable to leave melons for 15 days after the main vines are kept in order to prevent the competition from affecting the normal development of the seeds. Because the loofah melon strips are basically finished in about 15 days, and enter the seed maturity period, so in order to avoid the seedlings being too small or the melons are swollen slowly, it is not appropriate to leave melons on the side vines. At the same time, the nutrition produced by the side vine leaves can also supply a large amount of growth of the seed melon, which is convenient for increasing the quantity and quality of the seed to be cultivated.
4. In the early stage of the side vine, the anther concentration at the time of flowering should be small. Formula: Add 10 ml of quercein, 6 ml of 2 , 4~D , 10 ml of naphthaleneacetic acid, 10 ml of flower buds, 12 ml of loofah, 20 ml of green source, 1 gram of rotten spirit, and fruit in 2 kg of water . Spirit can be added first to reduce the competition for nutrition, avoid hormone poisoning, and cause premature aging of plants. After 80 to 90 days, after harvesting the melon, you can increase the concentration of the anthers appropriately. You can add 2 , 4~D to 8 ml, and then add 10 ml of the fruit.
5. Although the roots of loofah are developed, after entering the seeding period, the loofah has entered the late stage of production, and the plants are inevitably declining. Therefore, in order to ensure the retention and the melons, it is necessary to increase the amount of fertilizer. Top dressing can be done by flushing and foliar application. It can be combined with biological fertilizer and high-potassium fertilizer to achieve the purpose of promoting roots and nourishing trees, keeping flowers and fruits. The biological bacterial fertilizer is applied for 20~25 kg per acre; the high-potassium fertilizer is applied for 15~20 kg per acre . It can also be applied with potassium sulfate compound fertilizer, and 25~30 kg per acre . Foliar spray fertilizer is mainly to supplement the deficiency of rhizosphere topdressing, to meet the large demand for nutrition of loofah and seedlings, and to spray full-nutrient foliar fertilizer.
