Application Demonstration 1: 10KV overhead bare conductor insulation treatment

The overhead bare wires are too close to the building, and the safety distance is not enough. For safety reason, SINOFUJI Mastic Tape is wrapped around the overhead bare wires where is near the building to play the role of insulating protection.

•It is possible for moisture entering the cabinet internal body, which may cause the primary or secondary equipment to get wet, thus to  cause corrosion, poor contact, short circuit and other problems that affect the insulation performance of the cabinet.

•If the exposed metal parts are Wrapped with SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad, so that it will not directly be contacted with the air and the degree of corrosion can be reduced.

•Important Notice:

          The working temperature of the SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad is not less than 5℃; there is no oil mist, sand and strong wind pollution around on the working site where should be also well ventilated. For outdoor occasion, the weather conditions should be good without rain etc. The corresponding safety measures and labor protection preparation shall be made.

   â€¢Surface Treatment:

            It is recommended to use a suitable method to remove the surface oil, grease and dust first, and keep the metal surface clean and dry. If there are   burrs  on the surface, it is recommended to use manual or electric tool to smooth the surface.

    •Working Procedure of Applying Overhead Line:

          Open the vacuum packaging;

          Strip off the plastic film on one side of SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad, and use the no plastic film side to face the overhead line and wrap it;

          Strip off the plastic film gradually on another side of SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad, and wrap the SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad on the overhead wire step by step;

          Continue to Wrap the overhead line with SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad; do not remove the film completely before to make sure SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad is tightly fixed with the wire;

          SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad is soft and full of plasticity at its original state. It can be compacted properly by hand during fixing, and finally the film can be stripped off;

          The overlap length of every two SINOFUJI Mastic Tape Pad should be no less than 5cm.
