Proper management of government parking lots plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall image of the government and the region. As a result, more and more government agencies are focusing on improving their parking systems. Among them, the Yongchuan District Government in Chongqing stands out as a leading example in effective parking management.
Located on Renmin Avenue, directly opposite the People’s Square in the New District and adjacent to the Yongchuan District Government Service Center, this area serves as the core of the district. With a high volume of vehicles and daily traffic, a well-organized parking plan is essential for smooth operations.
The parking system designed by Big Hand ensures a seamless process for employees. When an employee's vehicle approaches the entrance, the system automatically detects it. The driver simply needs to present their access card at the control machine, and the camera captures the vehicle's image and stores it. Once the system reads the card information, the gate opens automatically, allowing quick and efficient entry.
At the exit, when the vehicle triggers the sensor, the camera captures another image of the vehicle. The driver presents their parking card again, and the system displays both images for comparison by the staff. If the images match, the vehicle is allowed to leave. If there is a discrepancy, immediate action can be taken.
The image comparison feature is a key component developed by Big Hand to enhance vehicle safety. Cameras at both the entrance and exit capture images of all vehicles, with the time stamped in the lower right corner. The system also allows administrators to enable or disable facial recognition based on their needs. When enabled, the system captures both the vehicle and the driver’s face; when disabled, only the vehicle image is recorded.
When a vehicle is ready to exit, the system automatically compares the two captured images, ensuring that the correct vehicle is leaving and enhancing overall security.
This advanced system not only improves operational efficiency but also strengthens security and compliance, making it an ideal solution for government parking management.
