Accumulatively proven coal reserves of 11.8 billion tons in Qingyang, Gansu

Qingyang’s early exploration of coal resources has been a success. Up to now, a total of 11.8 billion tons of coal reserves have been proven. This morning, the Gansu Provincial Department of Land and Resources and the Qingyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government held a grand ceremony of the Zhujie Conference and the Heshui South Coal Exploration Battle in Heshui County.

Lu Hao, director of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Standing Committee, announced at the ceremony that the Heshui South Coal Exploration Campaign was initiated. The Provincial Party Committee Vice Governor and acting governor Liu Weiping spoke. In recent years, in accordance with the strategic deployment of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, the Provincial Department of Land and Resources has scientifically demonstrated and carefully organized, and has invested more than 800 million yuan in exploration funds in Qingyang City, and has carried out the Ning Ning, Ning County, and Ning County Central and Central Areas. The exploration battles in the county's Shajingzi and other mining areas have completed 846 boreholes and 890,400 meters of drilling footage. At present, a total of 11.8 billion tons of coal reserves have been identified.

The Heshuinan Coal Resource Exploration Project is a key project for upgrading geological exploration identified by the Gansu Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government. The total cost of the project budget is 126 million yuan. 63 drill holes are drilled in the exploration area, and 75,000 meters are drilled and well-logging projects. The predicted coal resource amount is 1.876 billion tons.

In his speech, Liu Weiping said that accelerating the development and utilization of coal resources in Longdong, especially in Qingyang, is a major measure to implement the regional development strategy of the provincial party committee and the provincial government and promote the rapid rise of the “East Wing,” which is not only related to Qingyang*. * The accelerating development of the old district is related to the overall economic and social development of the province, which is of extremely important and far-reaching significance.

Liu Weiping said that geological exploration is an important basic and antecedent work for economic and social development. Only by finding out the “home” can we promote the scientific and refined resources development and utilization. At present, the coal resources exploration work in Qingyang City has achieved encouraging results. It has played a key supporting role in the introduction of central large-scale backbone enterprises to accelerate the development of Qingyang coal resources.

Liu Weiping said that the Heshui South coal resources exploration project started today is another major measure for large-scale exploration and development of Qingyang coal resources and accelerating the construction of Jidong energy and chemical industry base. The Provincial Department of Land and Resources shall continue to exert good industrial management functions, deploy elite troops, strengthen project operation and management, strengthen technical and equipment support, conduct civilized and safe construction, and promote the province's geological exploration and mining development to a new level. The Qingyang Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government shall establish the concept of adhering to scientific planning, orderly and rationally developing and utilizing coal resources, advance research on the layout of productive forces, extension of industrial chains, infrastructure construction, development of ecological and environmental protection and urbanization, and boost local people to get out of poverty. The key issues are constantly improving the planning system, innovating work ideas, intensifying coordination services, optimizing the development environment, accelerating the construction and development of energy and chemical bases, and making greater contributions to the province's leap-forward development.
